Longtop Financial Technologies Limited ("Longtop") is the largest provider of information technology solutions to the financial industry in China. Longtop provides customized software solutions, IT infrastructure and maintenance services for PRC financial institutions, including China’s four national banks, as well as for insurance companies, government, and large corporations. Longtop used the capital provided by Cathay in 2004 to expand its banking services operations. Cathay assisted the company in completing an initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange in October 2007 (listing code: LFT). 163.net is one of China’s leading, web based email systems. At the time of Cathay’s acquisition in 1999, 163.net held approximately 30% market share amongst all Chinese interest users with active email accounts.
